The Banqueting House is the perfect place to throw a Christmas Party. It was built in the 17th-century as an opulent setting for royal banquets, balls and masques and to this day it still creates a glittering backdrop for events. The stunning Main Hall can accommodate up to 380 guests.
Your guests will arrive through the stunning undercroft, which can be decorated to create a wonderful festive welcome. Enjoy drinks in this reception area, before making your way up the impressive staircase to the Main Hall. A walk that former Kings and Queens would have made, your guests will be awed by the Main Hall. Magnificent pillars soar towards one of the world’s great masterpieces – Peter Paul Rubens’ ceiling. Complemented by chandeliers and tables covered in candles, the Main Hall at Christmas is spectacular.
