For All The Parties We’ve Missed
Now that things are starting to look a little more positive for the events industry, we want to remain hopeful that events will be back up and running before we know it. The last couple of months have been challenging (to say the least!!), however we are all so lucky to work in such an amazing, supportive industry that is helping us navigate the ‘new norm’ one step at a time. We all deserve to let our hair down and with more and more venues reopening their doors to the public, here are some of our favourite venues to host an event, when we get the green light.
PUBS & BARS
The Botanist – The Botanist in Broadgate Circle, is a City favourite for social drinks and parties. With a late license until 2am and a range of private and semi-private areas this is a go to venue for all occasions. The Botanist hosts a spacious bar, restaurant and cocktail lounge and features a large sun terrace. Located only 2 minutes from Liverpool Street Station, it’s easily accessible and a hotspot venue in the City.
Blame Gloria – Perfectly located in the heart of Covent Garden, Blame Gloria is great for social and corporate events. It’s a popular venue to meet, drink and party, any day of the week. This cocktail bar offers an eclectic cocktail list and focuses on exceptional service. Their fun and creative décor brings the bar to life. The semi-private area will give your guests a touch of exclusivity whilst still enjoying the atmosphere of the main bar.
RESTAURANTS
The Folly – The Folly is a beautiful picturesque Modern European restaurant located in Monument. With its stunning and botanically themed interior, this venue is fun, sophisticated and quirky. The Folly is the perfect venue for private dining, parties and drinks receptions.
Sushi Samba Covent Garden – Located at the famed Opera Terrace on top of the historic Grade II-listed Market Building, Sushi Samba is a new vibrant addition to Covent Garden. Their glass roof makes this a stunning London venue and the restaurant runs along the entire east side of the market making for beautiful rooftop views across the piazza.
VENUES WITH OUTDOOR SPACE
Saatchi Gallery Bar & Brasserie – The famous Saatchi Gallery is known for its world renowned contemporary art pieces. This iconic, Grade II* listed building which is located on the King’s Road in Chelsea, is a beautiful location for private dining and events. It is also fitted with its own semi-private and private dining spaces which are perfect for private dinners, networking events, receptions and parties.
Fiume – Located at London’s iconic Battersea Power Station, Fiume is one of D&D’s newest Italian restaurants. The stunning views of the Thames and a large Mediterranean inspired terrace gives this modern sophisticated venue the wow factor. The restaurant is one of London’s favourite hotspots and serves wholesome, hearty meals made with fresh, vibrant ingredients. Whether you are hosting an intimate private party or looking for an iconic space to entertain clients, Fiume is definitely a must-see venue.
ROOFTOP VENUES
Jin Bow Law – Located on the 14th floor of Dorsett City Hotel, Jin Bow Law is one of the City’s most popular rooftop bars. Experience the breath-taking views of some of London’s iconic landmarks including Tower Bridge, the Shard, the Walkie Talkie, the Gherkin and more. With their Asian inspired cocktail menu, it is the perfect venue for those wanting to grab a few drinks and light snacks.
Madison – Located in the heart of St Paul’s in One New Change, Madison comprises of a glamorous bar, restaurant, cocktail bar and rooftop terraces. Overlooking St Paul’s Cathedral and the city skyline, it oozes sophistication and glamour whilst being a fun and lively event space. Whether you are planning a night out with friends, or a corporate networking evening, Madison is one of London’s most prestigious destinations for a fun filled evening of drinks, food and music from their in-house DJ.

Searcys at The Gherkin – The Gherkin is one of the many iconic skyscraper buildings in London known for its iconic and innovative design. For smaller and more intimate events, the five private dining rooms on level 38 offer unforgettable views of the London skyline.
Mere – Mere is a beautiful and elegant restaurant located in the heart of Fitzrovia. It is the first solo venture by the world-famous Monica Galletti and her husband David. Available to hire on an exclusive option, private events, business functions and even wedding breakfasts, Mere is an all-purpose luxury event space.
Swingers – A fantastic venue for a corporate or private event with a difference, Swingers is an indoor 9-hole crazy golf club in the heart of the west-end offering fun, food and competition all under one roof! Definitely a great venue choice for those looking for something less formal and a bit quirky.
