Good food, great spaces and lovely company at The Marylebone Hotel

This week The Collection team and 8 of our lovely clients were treated to an evening at our Venue of the Month, The Marylebone Hotel, as part of The Loyalty Collection program and boy was it an incredible evening!

On arrival, we were shown to the hotel’s largest event space, Number Six. Benefiting from its own separate entrance, the space has an elegantly decorated reception area with a roaring fire, private bar, and an overall Art Deco feel throughout with modern twists. On arrival we were greeted with bubbles and canapés, setting us up for a look around the hotel’s many treasures, glass in hand of course!

After a look at some of the bedrooms we hopped up to the Terrace Suite, which has its own covered terrace overlooking the London skyline and can be used for drinks receptions for up to 30 guests or casual meetings for 10.

Then it was onto the hotel’s main event spaces: the interconnecting Blue Room, Courtyard and Library are stunning. These interesting spaces have different feels to each area, they can be used together for up to 150 guests or separated into breakouts. The Courtyard boasts a retractable roof and open fire so even on a dreary February evening we were cosy and would be able to enjoy a drink or dinner. Lastly, we were shown The Long Room – accommodating up to 65 people for a standing reception the space is cool and contemporary.

A brief look at the trendy Third Space gym (we weren’t going in!) and 18-metre pool rounded off the tour.

Now back to Number Six for dinner!

The shared starters included Yellowtail sashimi, a burrata and tomato salad, and parma ham with blue cheese and pear, delicious! Mains were definitely a show-stopper from mouth-watering steak to butternut squash risotto; there was something for everyone. Dessert and coffee to finish and we were absolutely stuffed and happy.

Due to the plentiful wine and excellent service, everyone left a little tiddly and with their own mini bottle of the hotel’s own distilled 108 Gin to carry them home.

Safe to say it was a beautiful evening with beautiful people! We will be back!
