#LoveBites – Celebrating Our Venue Heroes
It is safe to say the events and hospitality industries have suffered quite dramatically over the last 3 months during the COVID-19 pandemic. There is also a continued uncertainty over the future of the events industry and when things will return to ‘normal’ as we knew it. We are supporting each and every one of our clients through this period of madness with rescheduling booked events and planning events for the future. We have booked virtual bingo, cooking lessons and wine tastings for our clients so that events can continue!
Every day we are amazed by the support and positivity of our partner venues in these times. Without the generosity and the amazing relationships we have with these venues many more difficulties could’ve arisen. That’s why we want to give a shout out to some of the venues that have been super flexible. Many of our favourite venues have relaxed their cancellation policies and waived rescheduling fees.
LEONARDO ST PAULS,
Leonardo St Pauls, housing 23 meeting and event spaces accommodating 1200 delegates is one of the largest conference hotels in the capital. With this in mind the vast number of events both cancelling entirely and those rescheduling for later dates would be one of those huge headaches you wish to be over fast. The service we have recieved from the team here at Leonardo St Pauls has been fantastic and we have been treated like our client’s event has been the only one booked in for the rest of the year. Now that is service! We would like to applaud the team at the hotel for the their total flexibility, we have one very happy client.
THE CURTAIN
The Curtain Hotel is one of our favourite venues in London – it’s unique, bold and quirky. Home to the epic Lido, one of its kind in the City it is safe to say that this summer space won’t be used for corporate summer parties this year, however with the help of the incredible events team we have confirmed a Christmas party in the Burbage an equally creative and fun space. There have been struggles over the last couple of months for any client to confirm an event but with the right level of persistence from the venue and continual updates from them we have managed to get this over the line for one of our regular clients and we are so pleased! The team have been incredibly helpful with inputting extra clauses within their contracts and providing additional flexibilities for our client. Thank You The Curtain Hotel!
ST PAUL’S CATHEDRAL
Who doesn’t love an event at a location filled with stories. St Paul’s Cathedral, one of the most iconic venues to hold an event at in London. Over the past weeks, the inhouse events team at the Cathedral have been ever so helpful always demonstrating speedy responses and allowing such flexible terms so we have been able to rebook one of our most prestigious events for the year. We love you St Pauls.
We love all of our partner venues and are continually working with them to rebook our client events. Without the tenacity of the many event professionals within this industry we wouldn’t have been able to make this hard task so easy so a huge Thank You for us all here at The Collection Events and look forward to being back to business as usual soon.
