Meet Holly Davies, Sales & Marketing Manager, The View
Hi everyone, to introduce myself, I am Holly Davies, the Sales & Marketing Manager at London’s newest flagship events venue, The View. The headquarters for The Royal College of Surgeons London.
Well what a year it has been… but I am so excited to be in a brand-new venue, with new event spaces and ready to welcome event bookers and clients into the venue for a great end to the year in events. We already have some amazing events booked for the latter half of the year including annual conferences and Christmas parties!
Firstly, some background on the venue and its capabilities, we welcome conferences of up to 300 delegates in our stunning central London location. With beautiful views over the city, state of the art facilities throughout the building, and sleek service, The View is a versatile space for conferences of all shapes and sizes. With built-in AV facilities, office space and small breakout rooms available, The View is a perfect location for conferences.
Secondly, a little bit about me, having worked in a central sales function for the past 4 years I was ready to move into a venue to call something my own and The View opened up that opportunity for me. Being a very organised individual (I’m sure my family and friends would say I take it a little too far sometimes), I have always absolutely loved sales and events and I’ve been in the industry since I was 18. Moving into a new role and venue during a global pandemic has of course thrown some challenges at me but I was more than ready to get stuck into things and be challenged. Being at home within the same 4 walls during this time as a driven and ambitious individual wasn’t easy at all. Evie and Rupert however became my very loyal companions and now I own two very clingy cats who cannot phantom that I need to now go out to work?! How rude of me!
Moving onto the positives, it has been such a great project to build the sales and marketing plan for The View from scratch, including some great packages, a Botanical themed Christmas concept for 2021 and much more to come…. We are welcoming viewings of the new spaces so please do chat to The Collection Team should you wish to come and take a look.
