New Venue Openings 2021
To say 2020 was a disappointing year is definitely an understatement! A lot of plans had to be rescheduled, including the grand openings of some great new London venues. But, good things come to those who wait! We’re so excited to hear that these brand new venues will be opening their doors this year and we can’t wait to visit! Check out some of the amazing venues that are gearing up to welcome you in 2021.
PAN PACIFIC
Located in Bishopsgate Plaza, minutes away from Liverpool Street Station, this brand new 237-room venue is in the perfect location offering a convenient and well-linked stay in London. This will be the first Pan Pacific Hotel to open its doors in Europe and combines sincere Singaporean hospitality with contemporary London design. The hotel will include a stunning 18th floor Signature Suite with views of all the city landmarks, an indoor infinity pool, spa and fitness centre, and a ballroom accommodating up to 400 guests.
SABINE AT LEONARDO ROYAL HOTEL LONDON ST PAULS
Formally The Sky Bar, Sabine Bar is the newly refurbished, exclusive penthouse-level bar with a rooftop terrace and conservatory. With a combined capacity of 180, this brand new bar makes it the perfect setting for drinks receptions, product launches or summer events. Prepared for the British weather, the conservatory has comfortable sofa seating and a retractable roof. It’s a beautiful, modern City bar offering beautiful unobstructed views over St. Paul’s Cathedral.
THE LONDONER
Part of the amazing Edwardian Hotels London, The Londoner is a super boutique hotel and first of its kind located in Leicester Square, London. The Londoner will have eight storeys above ground and six below ground, complete with bars and restaurants. It will feature 350 guest rooms and suites including a tower penthouse suite with panoramic views. There are also six concept restaurants and bars including a rooftop bar with a fire pit, as well as a private spa featuring a 24-hour gym, a pool with cabanas and a beauty salon. Not to mention the incredible dedicated event floors with a space to suit any event from the incredible state of the art ballroom to the super chic lounge areas.
THE NOMAD
Housed in the Grade II-listed Bow Street Old Magistrates Court and Police Station in Covent Garden, The NoMad Hotel is the first hotel in its chain to be introduced outside of the United States. The old magistrates courtroom has been renovated into a beautiful, amazing ballroom for private and corporate parties. Guests will also have the opportunity to check out the Metropolitan Police Force Museum as a wow factor and added value to any event. This unique hotel is a refreshing, quirky venue and features a restaurant set in a stunning open atrium, Side Hustle bar which is a twist on the traditional British Pub, a library, 5 event spaces and bedrooms and suites.
ROYAL COLLEGE OF SURGEONS
The Royal College of Surgeons has been the home of surgery since 1800. The venue has flexible event spaces from a bright, modern space within a setting steeped in history, or a historical library, with original features. The View, the new conference and events space at the Royal College of Surgeons, is due to launch in September 2021 following a redevelopment of this unique, historic building. Located less than 5 minutes walk from Holborn, and a short journey from Euston or Waterloo, it’s a great venue in a central location.
