We know that there is going to be a shift in requirements for facilities and services within an events venue moving forward to give event guests confidence to attend. More now than ever enquiries will be very specific and we are seeing companies have their own checklist when booking venues for events. When looking for a venue for the future make sure you ensure a safe environment for your guests. A few suggestions for questions below.
- Does the venue/ supplier have a COVID-19 plan in place?
- Can the venue confirm how guests will be safely welcomed to the venue?
- What changes to venue flow have been put in place?
- Does the venue have outside space?
- How will catering be offered to ensure safety for guests?
THINK OUT OF THE BOX LOCATIONS!
Delegates are going to be aware now more than ever of the confirmed location of an event. Driving will be a preference over public transport in the short term. The more confidence you can give to a guest, the more likely they will choose to attend. There are some incredible venues which offer plentiful parking and amazing facilities such as Red Bull MK-7 in Milton Keynes. The team can take the worry of transport with physically distanced event set ups for conferences and events!

Site visits are ultimately one of the most important factors in booking a venue. We always love to meet our clients at sites to ensure it fits the clients brief with a detailed walkthrough. A little challenge at the moment! We suggest asking for a virtual showaround and a zoom meeting to walk through all the details after.
