Church House Westminster is not what the general event booker thinks of when they say conference centre. This venue is a Grade II listed space and is full of character. With feature windows, oak panelling and stunning views of Westminster Abbey, Church House Westminster, built in 1939 is an event venue combining period charm with state of the art technology. This venue is able to host up to 664 guests for a conference or 327 for a dinner.
The grandest space within the venue is definitely the Assembly Hall which was built in 1939 for Sir Herbert Baker. A very rare feature of this space is the natural daylight through the 15 arched windows onto the gallery level – ticking the boxes for event organisers who like natural daylight but also these can be darkened for evening events.
We love this venue because of the location and the flexibility that the spaces provide. The Assembly Hall is the ultimate wow factor space due to it’s size, the 30 foot glass dome and the shape of the room.
