The spaces available for hire ay Japan House are suitable for a variety of events ranging from drinks receptions for 170 guests, conferences for 140 or dinner for 100 to small boardroom meetings for 12 guests. Japan House London’s diverse rooms are available for hire to organisations, bodies and companies whose activities support and promote Japanese culture, society and business.

The Tatami Room, situated on the first floor, can accommodate 8 seated guests and provides the perfect location for smaller meetings. In authentic Japanese style, this space also features a temporary display alcove showcasing art objects related to the exhibitions in the Gallery.

The Hall is a completely transformable space, with endless possibilities, offering a contemporary environment for events. This flexible space is ideal for conferences, seminars, film screenings and fashion shows. Located on the lower ground floor, with retractable tiered seating and a large built-in screen, it is fully AV- equipped to a high spec. Without the tiered seating the room provides an ideal space for receptions, dinners and informal gatherings.

Situated on the lower ground floor, in the central area between the Gallery and Hall, the Library is ideal for boardroom meetings, talks and training sessions. The room has a 84” Panasonic 4K UHD tv screen with speakers and a choice of inputs as well as conference calling facilities.
