Sir John Soane’s Museum

The world-renowned Sir John Soane’s Museum is one of the most iconic and influential buildings in the history of architecture.

Room Layouts & Capacities

Created by Sir John Soane, one of Britain’s greatest architects, it was his home as well as his private Museum. Soane’s collections – architectural fragments, paintings, sculpture and furniture – are still arranged today as they were at the time of his death in 1837. From the moment guests step through the door, they are transported back in time to the Regency era. Hosting your event in the candlelit setting of the Library-Dining Room, surrounded by mirrors reflecting the Pompeian red decoration, the Greek vases and other works of art, is a never-to-be-forgotten experience. This is perhaps the most atmospheric Regency interior anywhere, where Sir John himself entertained the glitterati of the day.
