The Institute of Contemporary Arts was founded by a collective of artists, poets and their supporters back in 1947 as ‘a workshop’ and today is a model for other ICAs across the world.

Room Layouts & Capacities

Ideally situated between Downing Street, Piccadilly Circus and Buckingham Palace, locations don’t come more iconic than this; the Institute of Contemporary Arts is a beautiful venue with views across Central London. The ICA has two Regency rooms, a fully equipped theatre, studio, bar and two classic cinema spaces, all available to hire.

The Nash and Brandon Rooms maintain their original plasterwork with floor to ceiling windows that open out onto balconies overlooking St James’s Park.
