The Mercer is an old banking hall that has been renovated into a modern restaurant and bar. Close to Bank Station, with a classic British menu and impressive wine list of over 400 options, the mercer is a fantastic choice for private dining and after work events.

Room Layouts & Capacities

This is a highly versatile venue, with five separate event spaces on offer.

The Silk Room is located on the 1st floor and can accommodate 6 guests. The room has been decorated to match the decadent surroundings of the main restaurant and is ideal for private dining events or day time meetings.

With an exclusive lounge feel The Velvet room can hold up to 16 guests and comes furnished with Wi-Fi and a 42” television screen built into a stately dark wood bookcase, when not in use, the television can be completely concealed behind a layer of brightly coloured 1st editions.

The Satin room is discreetly located on the ground floor and enjoys a confidential and private ambience for events. This has made it a popular choice for boardroom meetings and corporate private dinners with important clients. There is capacity for 25 seated or 35 standing.

Located on the first floor and flooded with natural light, the Wool Room has a calm and professional feel to it. One of the venue’s largest spaces it is popular for both drinks receptions (it has exclusive access to its own bar) as well as conferences and presentations.

The Linen Room is another first floor space with plenty of natural light, with huge windows and high ceilings. This is a highly flexible space and can be combined with Velvet Room. When combined they can accommodate up to 100 guests theatre style or 64 for a seated banquet.
