The London Cabaret Club at The Bloomsbury Ballroom
We headed to the Bloomsbury Ballroom for an evening of fabulous entertainment courtesy of The London Cabaret Club. After pre show bubbles in The Rose Room, we took our seats in the Ballroom for a delicious 3 course dinner and show stopping entertainment before grabbing our dancing shoes for the Rose Room after party. Summer Seminar Series at the fabulous Montcalm Royal London House
The first TLC event of its’ kind, we hosted an afternoon of short topical seminars led by The Collection Team, delicious food and drink, entertainment and amazing prizes in the heart of the City at the Montcalm Royal London House.
Our guests were met with bubbles and summer cocktails which they enjoyed entertainment by the amazing Brendan Magic before heading down to a series of 4 short seminars’, presented by The Collection Team. We covered off topics such as Brand New Openings, Christmas and Summer Venues with Theming and Entertainment, Away-Day and Team Building Venues and Private Dining Rooms for Summer Days and Winter Nights – safe to say, we had it all covered! After the seminars’, we headed upstairs to enjoy some delicious canapes and drinks courtesy of ETM Group before some seriously impressive entertainment by Cirque Le Soir.

A Five Star Breakfast at The Langham
A wonderful way to start the day, we headed to the gorgeous Langham Hotel for a delicious VIP breakfast event. After breakfast, we had a tour of the hotel including the newly refurbished Ballroom with adjoining Courtyard and heard all about the new Cookery School, Sauce by The Langham set to launch in June, contact us on email@example.com for more details!
West-End Cocktails & Canapes at Marks Bar Soho
Our clients’ joined us in the cool and contemporary Mark’s Bar to sample some of Soho’s finest cocktails! This space is fantastic for exclusive take-overs including Christmas parties for up to 100 guests for a standing reception.
For our most exclusive TLC event to date, we hosted A Night At The Museum in conjunction with the stunning Natural History Museum. Once the doors were closed to the public, 40 of our guests arrived to a glass of bubbles and some delicious canapes courtesy of the wonderful Alison Price catering.With a glass of fizz in hand, we had the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive tour of venues various exhibitions and event spaces. The Natural History Museum works for so many evening events, including Summer parties, drinks receptions and dinners.

A 5 star retreat at South Lodge Hotel
Our February TLC event was one of true luxury, as we whisked 7 clients to the stunning South Lodge Hotel for an evening of wine tasting and delicious food followed by an overnight stay. Taking less than 1 hour to reach from central London, South Lodge is a perfect country retreat! We had a delicious dinner in the Wine Cellar, a beautiful space for a private dinner, complete with eno-round offering a fantastic wine tasting experience. After a luxurious overnight stay, our guests donned their hard hats for an exclusive tour of the new eco-spa, a multi million pound project set to launch on 1st March. A delicious January detox at The Savoy
We wanted to kick start 2019 in serious style, so it was only right that our first TLC event of the year was held at the fabulous Savoy Hotel. Mince pies, miniature hero’s and mulled wine are a permanent fixture throughout December, so after all the over indulgence, what we needed was a detox!
We were joined by 25 of our lovely clients in one of the many event spaces at the hotel, the Gondoliers Room – a truly stunning event space dating back to the 1940’s with a luxurious Venetian design. Our guests enjoyed a delicious breakfast, including detox smoothies, smashed avocado, sweet potato pancakes and fresh pastries (for those not looking to detox!). With so much to see at The Savoy, our clients were taken on an exclusive tour of a few of the event spaces, including the stunning River Room and Lancaster Ballroom, perfect for banquets and high-end conferences.
A successful morning full of delicious food, an exclusive 5 star tour and a spot of networking, the team and our guests departed after a productive start to the day! Around the World in 80 Days at Battersea Evolution!
We love a party! For many of our clients, so much of the year is taken up organising the company Christmas party, so we wanted to treat them to a party of their own! Our Christmas TLC event was hosted at the fabulous Battersea Evolution in conjunction with Smart Hospitality. Cocktail dresses and stilettos on, we arrived at this impressive venue in Battersea Park, and were transported around the world in 80 days!
After a VIP cocktail reception, flanked by sphinxes (we were in Egypt, at this point!) we headed through to take our seats for a delicious 3 course meal, courtesy of the award winning Smart Hospitality. Between courses, we were treated to some fantastic entertainment, starting with Bollywood, a quick stop in America and ending with the Lion King in Africa, the entertainment truly was out of this world!
An evening of dancing and dodgems followed, and we truly saw out 2018 in style with our final TLC event!
Cocktails in the City!
Here at The Collection, we love a cocktail… or 4! We don’t usually step the other side of the bar but for our third TLC event, we wanted to learn the art of perfecting delicious cocktails, and we invited our clients along to help us!
We headed to the bright lights of the City for an evening at the cool and contemporary Crowne Plaza London The City, just a stones throw from Blackfriars Station. Our guests were welcomed to the sleek Voiltaire Bar with a delicious Peach Bellini and a selection of nibbles before enjoying a tour of the venue, including the self-contained events floor (perfect for exclusive take-overs), the AA Rosette awarded Italian and Chinese Restaurants, and the newly refurbished lobby bar (we were luckily enough to pop by on a Wednesday evening when they have a live jazz singer!).
Just outside of Voilataire Bar, you will find The Vaults which were formerly the cells of a women’s’ prison. They’ve undergone some thorough TLC and are now 9 separate Vaults just below the hustle and bustle of the City, perfect for gatherings of 12, or a date for 2! Nestled away in the largest of the vaults, we enjoyed some bubbles and delicious bowl food, including dim sum, salt & pepper squid and very moreish crab linguine.
A sneak peak at the new Bankside Hotel
Who doesn’t love a new opening? When we had a sneak peak of the brand new Bankside Hotel we simply had to take our clients there! Our second TLC event took place in the versatile and quirky event space just a few days after the official opening, and our clients loved the space just as much as we do!
We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with fresh juice, strong coffee (a staple at any breakfast meeting!), salmon and avocado and delicious potato and chorizo pots – a personal favourite of the team here! Guests were taken on an exclusive tour of the hotel, discovering hidden quirks along the way, including the vending machine (who knew engagement rings were so easy to come by here!) and the stunning roof terrace. We also explored the 4 meeting spaces, including aptly named blank canvas space “The White Box”, perfect for up to 140 guests.

A VIP Breakfast at London’s Most Central Venue
We hosted our first ever TLC event at the fabulous 8 Northumberland Avenue with our kick off event setting the tone for an amazing calendar of TLC events.
We were joined by over 25 of our lovely corporate clients for a VIP breakfast at London’s most central venue. Guests enjoyed an amazing, fresh breakfast complete with blueberry shots, banana and peanut butter bagels and avocado and poached egg bites (not forgetting a nice strong coffee for an 8:30 start!). Our guests were given the chance to explore 8 Northumberland Avenue including The Ballroom and The Old Billiard Room and Annex, discovering a host of anecdotes about this historic venue along the way. This VIP breakfast event gave our guests the opportunity to gain a sneak peak into some of our venues and to learn all about the benefits of TLC, with a glimpse at what’s to come!
