In 2015 the Ivy West Street’s head chef, Gary Lee, added in a series of Pan-Asian dishes to the Ivy’s already impressive menu, based on his passion for Asian cuisine. This influence is now reflected in the Ivy Manchester as the restaurant’s head chef Steve Scoullar holds a similar interest and passion. His menu is inspired by ingredients and flavours he experienced while travelling through Asia. From sampling produce at Tsukji Fish Market in Tokyo to location dishes in Cambodia Steve has developed a wealth of knowledge and expertise in different Asian cooking styles.
It was with this in mind that the Ivy decided to create an opportunity to introduce a brand new dining concept – Ivy Asia. Covering the venue’s second floor Ivy Asia offers a number of Asian inspired cocktails and dishes, and created a wonderfully unique setting for events and private dining.
